As a graduating Computer Information Systems student at Mount Royal University my academic pursuits and job experience have allowed me to develop the principal knowledge required to understand the processes involved in software and application development. My passion for development has pushed me to work on projects outside of school as I am continuingly looking to tackle new challenges. During my internship at AHS, I was assigned a project that required me to rapidly learn frameworks like Blazor, Next....., and Remix...... Within two weeks, I had to get up to speed and deliver a comprehensive project, explaining the different render modes of each framework and their potential security implications. My academic experience as well as the different hackathons I attended has allowed me to be proficient in working individually and as well as in a group setting. Within a group environment, I am a hard worker and would often take on leadership position to ensure the success of task, while enforcing code organization and cleanliness by using version control such as GitHub. I value a friendly work environment heavily as it makes it enjoyable for all participating group members. By developing a safe judgeless environment between classmates and coworkers, not only that it will create a better learning environment for all participants, but it also gives inspiration and motivation to each other.
