Hey there! I'm JD, a programmer based in Livermore, California familiar with multiple different programming languages including Python, JavaScript and Cplusplus and also with the concepts of object oriented and functional programming. I hold an Associate degree in Computer Science from a California community college and am CompTIA Security certified. I am a long time Linux user with extensive experience with the command line interface/shell and have used a variety of distributions throughout the years including Debian, Ubuntu, a RHEL compatible distribution and OpenSUSE Leap. Furthermore, I have successfully completed a UNIX/Linux system administration course at a California community college and implemented a home/small business router and firewall solution using the OpenBSD operating system with its excellent pf firewall. Finally, I also have some basic HTML and CSS knowledge, a bit of experience with writing small bash scripts and am always looking to broaden and deepen my programming, UNIX/Linux and cybersecurity knowledge.
