Programmer Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Web Developer who will be responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of our E-Commerce platform as well as other online websites and who has a passion for coding/developing the best functional website for our customers. In addition, the Developer will be responsible for data exchange and system integration's utilizing third party feeds, Web Services, EDI, API’s etc. Technical Skills/ knowledge required: * Advanced knowledge of PHP, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3, Angular, Node..... is a plus * NGINX web server maintenance in Linux environment, proficient with Linux commands * Advanced knowledge of MySQL Database – Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexes * Advanced knowledge of Web Services/SOAP, REST, CURL, and Interfacing / Building API’s * Programming experience with any MVC framework such as Zend Framework, CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony, etc... * Experience with version control tools such as GitHub * Strong knowledge of Fluid / Responsive Design and Media Queries * Object oriented programming concepts and design patterns * Experience with Mobile Applications built with Swift, Java or Phone Gap, Ionic is a plus * Good communication / personal skills with positive attitude
