The project is a kid-friendly wearable that is designed to encourage friendship between the diverse groups of humans on planet Earth. A basic, non-electronic version is setup for mass production and will be launched this summer. Within an an online, RPG-like experience, kids can make friends with other kids around the world. Kids use 100% of the profits from the purchase of the wearable to help their new friends. The enterprise, which is a not-for-profit entity, launched in Africa last fall. It began with about 150 kids in one school and was so well-received that we expanded to 22 schools and over 10,000 kids within a week! This past March, a series of in-person, social events in key cities was supposed to connect the kids in Africa with North American kids. Through the wearables purchased at these events, kids would discover new friends in Tanzania. Since the Coronavirus has forced the cancellation of large gatherings, our focus has shifted to an online deployment, which will require a full-stack web programmer. Ideally, this is one person, but the position could be divided into frontend and backend programmers. The world is spiralling out of control. Would you like to use your skills to help prevent that from happening?
