An innovative company located in Toronto is looking to hire a PHP Developer for a contract position. We are looking for someone to help build our online e-commerce site. We are looking for someone with strong management and organizational skills to work remotely. We are looking for an experienced PHP developer who is also proficient in JavaScript, MySQL, and Python. Applicants must provide a portfolio of current and past projects. Required Skills & Experience • 3-5 years of professional PHP development experience • Proficient in Javascript and Python, MySQL, WordPress with several years of working experience Desired Skills & Experience • Experience with AngularJS or Node is a plus • BA in Computer Science or related field a plus • The desire to work independently with the opportunity for growth • Has an interest in APP Development for Android, iOS and related field a plus What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown • 100% PHP development (Strong object-oriented programming using Laravel, Symfony OR CodeIgniter) Daily Responsibilities • 100% Hands On (team collaboration, Backend Development) • Submit a daily progress report to management The Offer • Competitive Pay: Up to $40/hour, (Depends On Experience) • Contract Duration: 6 – 9 Months, with the possibility of additional contracts.
